Well, Missouri might not have beaches or mountains but it sure can have some beautiful sunsets.

The next picture was taken a few minutes after the first so that is why it seems a little bit darker. Both pictures weren’t altered at all.

Well, it seems I missed a lot of action this past weekend while I relaxed at my peaceful North Carolina retreat…

First off, it seems that Hillary’s hostage situation on Friday, with all its media coverage, has yet to help her in the polls. Gateway Pundit has an interesting and comprehensive post on her fall from grace in the polls.

The next big and interesting event that happened over the weekend was Putin’s party’s contested election win this past Sunday. Pajamas Media has a great post on what this means for the future of Mother Russia.

And, lastly, Chavez’s utter defeat in trying to establish him dictator for life made up the trilogy of interesting events that happened while I was gone on my relaxing weekend. Pajamas Media warns that he may still have plenty of power at his disposal however Captain’s Quarters has a little more optimistic take on this.

Oh, and in very exciting news (at least for us Huckabee fans), the latest Rasmussen poll shows Huckabee ranked second only to Giuliani. Keep the Huckabee Surge going!

Haven’t had the chance to post in the past couple days because I have been moving into my dorm and I have been really busy doing the whole college thing. Hopefully now that I’m all settled in, I will be able to keep up the posting. Oh, by the way, GO GAMECOCKS!
