Well I’m heading back to South Carolina for another year at the University of South Carolina, Columbia. It’s been a great summer with many triumphs. Just to give you a heads up, posting will be sparadic the next could of days. Hopefully everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of summer.
Well today is the 1 year mark for this blog. I just want to take this time to thank everyone who has been reading my blog. If it wasn’t for my readers, I probably would have quit doing this a long time ago.
Judging by the successes I have had over the past year, I doubt I will stop blogging anytime soon. Keep reading folks and thanks again!
Well I have returned from my Missouri Float Trip vacation and it was a blast. Weather was wonderful and the streams were up which are the only two things I need to have a great time (some people require a third item, a certain beverage, but not me).
While I was gone, it seems that I had a few comments on two of my posts (here and here) that had to deal with ethanol and why I despise corn ethanol in particular. Since these commenter have chosen to champion the use of corn ethanol (and ethanol in general) I figured I will need to write another post reiterating why I am not a big fan of crop based-ethanol and give some alternative solutions.
This should be coming within the next week so stay tuned.
I’m going on my annual float trip with some friends so I will be out of town until Wednesday. I wll try to post something daily but that depends on whether or not AT&T has signal at the campsite. Hope everyone has a good week and I might post something while we are on our way there.
Well I just got this fancy new Samsung Blackjack and I decided its going to be fun trying to blog from these tiny keys. Because of certain limitations, here are some things to keep in mind :

-And finally it takes really long to post so be appreciative of every post you see categorized as ‘Blackjack Blogs’. Every single post is a labor of love.

Well, last night we had some pretty severe storms in and around the St. Louis area. Along with the sky seemingly being constantly alight with lightening, we got some pretty good sized hail. To prove how much I care about my readers, I braved this weather just to get you some pictures of the hail that probably dented a few cars around the neighborhood.
It also looks like we aren’t done with the crazy weather yet either so maybe you will get some more pictures later on.
I am finally back home which means that summer has officially started. Looks like this is going to be a great one. Since I have been in a car for roughly 12 hours today, I am going to bed. Have a great night and happy summer.
Sorry for the past couple of weeks of fairly sporadic and below average posts. Its been finals week and and things are always a bit hectic. Anyways, I will be home tomorrow so everything should return to normal.

I have been told that today Rush Limbaugh mentioned one of my videos I had on YouTube.com. It’s the video concerning Michelle Obama’s “That’s America” comment that I seemed to have overlooked when I had originally taken the video. Anyways, I didn’t get to hear when Rush exactly said but if anyone has a link to the audio that I could put up, that would be awesome.
