Blatant Reality

Merry Christms Everyone! Hope you have a blessed day with your families and be sure to remember to take some time and remember why we celebrate.

Well, in September my laptop’s internal WiFi card decided to only work once a blue moon and since then I have been using a USB wireless adapter. Yesterday, I decided to take advantage of my Best Buy Replacement/Repair warranty I bought for it and it has been shipped off for repairs. This all brings me to the main point of this post: I am sharing a computer so my post may not be that frequent for the next two weeks. Along with that, I have many other project I need to get done over this holiday season.

Therefore, the moral of this story is be sure to always get Best Buy’s extra warrenties and forgive my possible lack of posts.

Oh, and be sure to have a great holiday season.

I’m considering cutting back the amount of posts I have on this website because of time constraints. Between my college courses and doing things for SC Statehouse Blog among other project I have, I don’t know if I have enough time to fully devote to this site without taking away from my other endeavors.

Now, I know that I have never really been a prolific blogger but I have enjoyed doing stories on this site. I’m definitely not going to stop blogging and who knows, maybe the frequency of my posts won’t decrease that much. However, I just wanted to let everyone know that this site has now been relegated to a much lower level of importance.

With that in mind, I’m hoping to up the level of posts and interviews on SC Statehouse Blog so if your from South Carolina and want to keep in the know with some of the topics being discussed in the legislature, be sure to check it out.

Other than that, you can count on me to bring you articles dealing with algae biofuel, global warming, South Carolina politics and other random stories that I find interesting and would like to pass along.

I’m going to be in Asheville, NC for fall break so this means that the next few days post are going to be more erratic than usual. I apologize ahead of time.

So my computer decided to randomly uninstall my built in wireless adapter hardware so I don’t have internet capabilities at the moment. All I can say is thank goodness for cellphones with internet browsers.

I just decided to ad an advertising banner through Google Adsense. As I am sure most of you are aware, I really have no control over what comes up on this advertisements. Therefore, whatever political ads that may pop up are by no way me sponsoring whatever they are saying/selling/peddling. For example, I just saw a Moveon.org advertisement on the sidebar and it is fairly obvious that I wouldn’t be sponsoring them. However, Frank J. has some interesting ideas about those free buttons MoveOn.org is giving out…

Gosh, I just couldn’t help it anymore so I finally got a twitter account. Since “Jonathan Williams” and any variation of that has been taken long ago, I had to go with the username “BlatantReality”. The twitter update bar is on the right hand side under the Google ads banner. Now you all will be privy to every little thought that pops up in my mind. Hope you enjoy.

Finally got a wireless router for my apartment so now I can start posting from my computer instead of my faithful Samsung Blackjack II. Get ready for more analysis about one of my favorite subjects, Algae biofuel, along with other environmental orientated subjects (Global Warming and the like).

Well the Internet man came today and installed our modem but we won’t have a wireless router until tomorrow. That means thats I won’t be posting from my computer until then. All I can say is thank goodness for internet on the cell phone.

Well, right now I am living in a new apartment which currently doesn’t have any internet access. That is why I haven’t posted anything the past couple of days. Hopefully I will have Internet access by Friday but untl then, I will be doing random updates from my phone.
