I am finally back home which means that summer has officially started. Looks like this is going to be a great one. Since I have been in a car for roughly 12 hours today, I am going to bed. Have a great night and happy summer.

My Michelle Obama’s ‘That’s America’ Video

I have been told that today Rush Limbaugh mentioned one of my videos I had on YouTube.com. It’s the video concerning Michelle Obama’s “That’s America” comment that I seemed to have overlooked when I had originally taken the video. Anyways, I didn’t get to hear when Rush exactly said but if anyone has a link to the audio that I could put up, that would be awesome.

Here is a list of some of the sites that have linked to my video:

BreitBart TV

NewsMax

PoliGazette

The Jawa Report

Patt Dollard

I really should start embedding my videos directly into my blog so that I can actually take credit for my work.

Well, Chicago was a blast. My friends and I had a great time and the people we were able to serve a lot of people in the city. So to remember everything that we did in Chi-town, here is a picture of a metal moose.

Don’t know why, just thought that picture would be a good way to close this adventure.

Night three in Chicago

If you haven’t noticed a trend by now, I’m mainly posting about my nights here in Chicago. The reason for this is during the days we are busing helping out our respective churches serve the homeless and needy of the city. The nights are the only time I have free time. Anyways, here are two pictures I took last night. One is the Macbook Air we saw at the Mac Store on Michigan Ave and the other is the Chicago sky line from the Hancock building. You can see the Sears Tower off in the distance in that pictures.

Well my second night in Chicago was pretty cool. We made our way to Wicker Park which is a more artsy place reminiscent of “The Loop” in St. Louis. Now don’t think that I’m going all liberal on you; I just wanted to see the town and this is just one place we ended up. Plus, we had heard about an awesome three story book store that turned out to be pretty cool. Anyways, on the way there I took this awesome picture as we were crossing one of Chicago’s many bridges.

Today we start doing mission work so things should get a little more hectic. Pray that everything goes well.

Well we got into Chicago pretty late last night (around 11:00pm CST) after being on the road since 6:00am EST. As my last post stated, I’m here with my church on a mission trip for my spring break. Today has just been a “relax and have some fun” kind of day with the majority of it being devoted to free time. So, since free time is going to be in a short quantity during this trip, I’m just going to leave you with these two pictures, each taken from a balcony on our floor. Enjoy.

New Poll in honor of going to Chicago

Tomorrow, I’m going to be heading off to Chicago for my Spring Break. Now why would I be going to a frozen city when I’m located in the wonderfully warm south? Well, my church is going there on a mission trip so I’ll be heading along with them. Since we are going to be driving all the way there (roughly a 17 hour trip in multiple 16 passenger vans), I probably won’t be able to blog at all tomorrow. Therefore, I’m going to be leaving you with a poll.

Since I’m going to be in Illinois, I only think it is fitting that I ask a question concerning Obama. Recently, I have begun to notice more and more Obama fans absolutely adore the man. No, you don’t understand, they REALLY adore him. Its like Obamamania is a new religion and his followers will follow him no matter what just because “he is a nice guy.” So my question is this…

Does the almost cult-like fervor of Obama’s followers scare you?
Yes, it really does
No, I think it’s kind of cute
Huh? What’s a cult?
No, Ron Paulians are much worse

Well I am back from the beach and I’m tired. Therefore, I am only going to leave you with this picture I took in a local Publix on Friday that I thought was pretty funny (Hint: Look at McCain’s eyes), and a picture of this morning’s sunrise.

Enjoy.
